Weekend Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Needed in North Dakota
Job Description
A hospital in North Dakota is seeking a nurse practitioner to provide weekend ED/hospital coverage. The average patient load includes 7-8 patients per day in the emergency department and 5 patients in the hospital for rounding. The role involves unrestricted call/call back from 8am to 8am. Common cases include pneumonia, CHF, COPD, abdominal pain, chest pain, URIs (seasonal), musculoskeletal pain, and urgent care needs. The EMR system used is Epic ED. Job Requirements
- State License Required (IMLC accepted)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Clean malpractice record
