We are seeking a board-certified psychiatrist for a locum tenens position at a medical facility in Iowa. This role involves providing inpatient psychiatric care for both adult and adolescent units, as well as hospital and ER consults. The schedule requires working 7 days on/7 days off, with possible weeknight and weekend call. The position includes supervising an APP and handling an average of 5-12 patients per day. Candidates must be familiar with family therapy, restraint application, group therapy, pharmacotherapy, seclusion therapy, voluntary commitments, and have experience treating various disorders including anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders.
