A board-certified physician specializing in hematology-oncology is needed for a locum tenens position in Illinois. This role involves outpatient coverage from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no weekend duties. The practice is 30% hematology and 70% oncology, with one remaining physician in a hematology/oncology-only practice. The patient population is adults only. The practice setting is an outpatient free-standing community cancer center, with an average of 16-20 patients per day.
