Job Description
A healthcare facility in Oregon is seeking a board-certified pediatric physician for locum tenens coverage. The position involves 24-hour call coverage, with a potential need for 1-2 weeks per month. The provider will spend roughly 1-4 hours onsite per day and must be comfortable with neonatal resuscitation, intubation, lines, and emergency medications to stabilize and transfer patients if needed. The patient population includes individuals from 0 to 18 years old, with up to 6 patients per day. Responsibilities include related admissions, consultations, workups, venipuncture, laceration repair, incision and drainage of superficial abscesses, and the treatment of major or complicated illnesses. Job Requirements
- Board Certified in Pediatrics or IM/FM
- Active Oregon License
- 3-Year Pediatric Residency Program
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Certifications
